Why i choose my team for FC
I choose all Democrats because as we can tell the table is turning and Democrats are slowly getting control again. Everyone on my team has accomplished many great things and are WELL known Senators, Representatives, and etc... They have high attentadence, high legislations passed, great ideas, and are the key to the future of America. A very strong team. Another reason is 4 of the Senators that i choose have the greatest support from the American public. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are running for the presidency, and Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein have the support of the largest state in America (California). Lastly, i am a Democrat with some Republican morals.

Blog Entry #1
The most pressing issue in modern day American politics and government is the war in Iraq. I have chosen this topic because I was born and raised there for the first seven years of my life. Our government sadly chose to send our troops to Iraq to not only liberate but also to occupy and use the country’s resources. This war has been taking place since 2003 and is still continuing today. President Bush gets what he wants under the Patriot Act and the Senate never has the chance to veto his resolutions since 49% of the body is composed of Republicans. So now the ongoing argument is if we going to stay in Iraq or leave. This is an unanswered question that only time can tell.

Introduction

Dedication, determination, and intuition, were skills i aquired through hard work, and a positive drive. With these i strived to become a political science major. Born, and raised in Iraq a country that first was run by a dictatorship and just recently is becomming a democracy. Growing up I realized all of the politics that evolved in the country. The three major wars against Iran, Kuwait, and America. The country's black gold (oil) which made its liberator's want to help out the country and its people even more, when in reality all they really wanted was there pockets to be filled. All of these events put a rage in me in wanting to get involed in both the good and evil side of politics. I personally think good politics do exist but it needs good people to bring it out. Besides my passion, I am just an average girl, trying to tranfer to UC Berkeley, I am religious, open minded, love to dance, have a good time with friends, my family means the world to me, and i am very dedicated to everything i get started with.
